The Flight Deck Restaurant creates a special experience at the Salem Airport each summer, it's called Hot August Flights. A family friendly event tentatively slated for August.

Hot August Flights is an alfresco event served with a side order of aviation. There is live music, extraordinary BBQ, a beer garden and the opportunity to ride in an airplane or helicopter. There are activities for kids, too.    Free Admission and Free parking.
